This is my Journal and you have the freedom to read it
Hello! I’m Rae, and I am a personal financial literacy advocate, community builder, a public speaker and an investor.
TravelsWithRae formerly Super OFW Investor was created in 2014 and mainly focuses about OFWs to help them about financial literacy to help them achieve financial independence. I have been blogging since 2014.
However, I decided to take a pause during the pandemic era of the 2020s. I complete;y revamped this website and it serves as my reminder, my online journal about life experiences – travel, food, my thoughts, humor even memes (I like to joke around and make my closes friends smile, Life is boring without humor, right?), and financial literacy.
In the past, I have been an active on-stage speaker for universities, companies, churches, and various organizations. However, due to the pandemic, I have limited my speaking engagements to focus on other areas of life and explore new opportunities.
I have a passion for trying different types of food and enjoy traveling to places I have never been to before. For me, travel is not just about sightseeing, but also about experiencing new cuisines, flavors and different cultures.
Why Travels with Rae?
Travel is not just about moving from one place to another, it’s about the experience and personal growth that comes with it. When we travel, we immerse ourselves in new cultures, explore new landscapes, try new foods, and meet new people. All of these experiences contribute to a greater understanding of the world and our place in it. Through travel, we learn to appreciate diversity, develop empathy, and broaden our perspectives. It’s not just about ticking off bucket list items or posting pictures on social media, it’s about the journey and the memories we create along the way. Whether we’re exploring our own backyard or venturing to far-off destinations, travel has the power to transform us and enrich our lives in countless ways.
My intention with this blog is to use it as a platform to share my personal encounters with health and fitness, as well as to provide valuable insights into travel, food, personal finance, and life.
Essentially, I aim to use this as a personal journal to document my thoughts and experiences.
See you around!
